General Help
In addition to the Item Specific Help window, the BIOS setup program also provides a General Help screen. This screen can be called up from any menu by simply pressing <F1> or the <Alt> + <H> combination. Use the <Tab> or <Shift> + <Tab> keys to move between the month, day, and year fields. 4. 3. 1 Primary & Secondary Master/Slave
These fields are used to configure IDE devices. The arrow head icon indicates that this field contains a sub-menu. Move the cursor to highlight the field representing the appropriate channel you wish to setup and press the <Enter> key to enter the sub-menu.
Type [Auto] Select [Auto] to automatically detect an IDE hard disk drive. If automatic detection is successful, the correct values will be filled in for the remaining fields on this sub-menu. The orange text shows auto-detected information and are not available for editing.
