Internal audio connector (4-pin CD [Black]) These connectors allow you to receive stereo audio input from sound sources such as a CD-ROM, TV tuner, or MPEG card. Connect the serial port module cable to this connector, then install the module to a slot opening at the back of the system chassis. TPM connector (20-1 pin TPM) [Optional] This connector supports a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) system, which can securely store keys, digital certificates, passwords, and data. The system then runs the power-on self tests or POST. While the tests are running, the BIOS beeps or additional messages appear on the screen. If you do not see anything within 30 seconds from the time you turned on the power, the system may have failed a power-on test. Powering off the computer Using the OS shut down function If you are using Windows® 2000: Make sure that the Shut Down option button is selected, then click the OK button to shut down the computer. The power supply should turn off after Windows® shuts down. Click the Start button then click Shut Down. . . If you are using Windows® XP: 1. Click the Start button then select Turn Off Computer. Click the Turn Off button to shut down the computer. The power supply should turn off after Windows® shuts down. 3. 2. 2 Using the dual function power switch While the system is ON, pressing the power switch for less than four seconds puts the system to sleep mode or to soft-off mode, depending on the BIOS setting. If you attempt to exit the Setup program without saving your changes, the program prompts you with a message asking if you want to save your changes before exiting. Press <Enter> to save the changes while exiting. Exit & Discard Changes Select this option only if you do not want to save the changes that you made to the Setup program. If you made changes to fields other than System Date, System Time, and Password, the BIOS asks for a confirmation before exiting. Discard Changes Allows you to discard the selections you made and restore the previously saved values. After selecting this option, a confirmation appears. [. . . ]
