System power LED This 2-pin connector is for the system power LED. Connect the chassis power LED cable to this connector. The system power LED lights up when you turn on the system power, and blinks when the system is in sleep mode. Hard disk drive activity LED This 2-pin connector is for the HDD Activity LED. Connect the HDD Activity LED cable to this connector. The IDE LED lights up or flashes when data is read from or written to the HDD.

System warning speaker This 4-pin connector is for the chassis-mounted system warning speaker. The speaker allows you to hear system beeps and warnings. Power/Soft-off button This 2-pin connector is for the system power button. Pressing the power button turns the system ON or puts the system in SLEEP or SOFT-OFF mode depending on the BIOS settings. Pressing the power switch for more than four seconds while the system is ON turns the system OFF. Reset button This 2-pin connector is for the chassis-mounted reset button for system reboot without turning off the system power.

15. Ports on the HDMI module
This module contains four ports, allowing you to connect any kind of video/ audio source to your system. Connect the HDMI module to the onboard PCI Express x16 slot and the HDMI module cable to the onboard YUV/SPDIF_OUT connector.
· · Refer to page 1-29 for the position of the onboard YUV/SPIDF_OUT connector. After installing the HDMI module, make sure the audio device of Sound playback is HDMI Audio rear output (the name may be different based on. the. OS). Go to Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sound Playback to configure the setting.

a. This port is for a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connector.
S-Video port / YPbPr port. This 7-pin port connects any kind of video source via the bundled YPbPr cable or an S-Video cable.

S/PDIF Out port. This port connects an external audio output device via an coaxial S/PDIF cable.
