This utility is available in the support CD that comes with the motherboard package. ASUS Update requires an Internet connection either through a network or an Internet Service Provider (ISP). Insert the support CD into the CD-ROM drive. Click the Utilities tab, then click Install ASUS Update VX. XX. XX. See page 5-3 for the Utilities menu screen. The ASUS Update utility is copied into your system. To update the BIOS using ASUS Update: 1. See section "4. 7 Exit Menu. Use the navigation keys to select items in the menu and change the settings. For example, selecting Main shows the Main menu items. The other items (Advanced, Power, Boot, and Exit) on the menu bar have their respective menu items. To display the sub-menu, select the item and press <Enter>. 4. 2. 6 Configuration fields These fields show the values for the menu items. If an item is user-configurable, you may change the value of the field opposite the item. You can not select an item that is not user-configurable.
