P5P41T LE System Panel connector The sytem panel connector is color-coded for easy connection. Refer to the connector description below for details. · System power LED (3-pin PLED) This 3-pin connector is for the system power LED. Connect the chassis power LED cable to this connector. The system power LED lights up when you turn on the system power, and blinks when the system is in sleep mode. Visit the ASUS website (www. asus. com) to download the latest BIOS file for the motherboard and rename the same to P 5 P 8 0 0 S . Save the BIOS file to a floppy disk, then restart the system. ASUS P5P41T LE 2-3 2. 1. 3 AFUDOS utility The AFUDOS utility allows you to update the BIOS file in DOS environment using a bootable floppy disk with the updated BIOS file. This utility also allows you to copy the current BIOS file that you can use as backup when the BIOS fails or gets corrupted during the updating process. Copying the current BIOS To copy the current BIOS file using the AFUDOS utility: · · Make sure that the floppy disk is not write-protected and has at least 600 KB free space to save the file.
