Press to turn the system on or off. The message window will show the number of messages at all times. When the system is turned on, you will hear "Machine on" and the light will be lit. When the system is off, you will hear "Machine off" and the light will not be lit. The system will still answer after 10 rings if it is off, then announce "Please enter your remote access code" and wait for you to enter the code to access remote functions.
