The PHONE light goes on, and the call is connected. If the handset is away from the base, press P or any key on the handset, including V. The PHONE light goes on, and the call is connected. Ending a Call · · If you are near the base, place the handset in the base. If you are away from the base, press P. Redial last number called Make, answer, or end a call Store/access numbers in telephone memory Redial The last number dialed (up to 32 digits) on this phone is stored in redial memory until you dial another number. 1 Press P, and wait for the PHONE light to go on. 2 When you hear a dial tone, press R. Base Ringer Volume Set the Ringer ON/OFF switch on the back of the base to ON if you want the base to ring, then press + or - on the front of the base to select high or low ringer volume. Set the switch to OFF if you don't want the base to ring. When the Base Ringer is OFF, the base won't ring, but the IN USE light will flash when a call is coming in. Call your local telephone service company. Noise in the Handset and Buttons Don't Work The base unit and handset might not be set to the same security code.
