After installation, place the cordless handset in the charger for 15 hours before use. You can keep the battery charged by returning the handset to the charger after each use. Plug long telephone line cord into telephone jack. Plug power cord transformer into electrical outlet. Press coin into slot on base of handset to release latch, then remove cover. Plug in battery here. Plug coiled handset cord into handset and jack on side of base. To replace cover: Insert top tabs first. Plug power adapter into jack on underside of charger as shown, then plug into electrical outlet. Place handset in charger for 15 hours before first use.
