With some modification to the stud framing it can also be installed between studs mounted on 24 inch centers. In all cases the front face of the enclosure must be kept flush with the front face of the studs. For studs mounted on 24 inch centers you may either install the L brackets on only one side of the enclosure and mount that side to the adjacent stud. Alternatively, you may frame out from one or both studs to locate the enclosure where ever you desire and then attach as detailed below. Remove the enclosure from the box by opening the end of the box and turning it over on a soft surface. Find the parts bag and check to be sure it includes 4 steel "L" brackets and 16 wood screws. Determine the speaker's location based upon the information in the System 20 LCR owners manual. [. . . ] For optimum performance caulk this hole when you're done installing the wires.
