The protections are realized with a PLD (Programmable Logic Device), more fast and reliable if compared to a microcontroller. After some hours of operation the unit temperature can raise up to 50°C, be careful! please locate the unit in a well-ventilated place. In particular, you should leave at least 5 cm around and above the unit and avoid placing it close to heat sources (radiators, heaters, amplifiers, television sets). Please note also that this high temperature is absolutely normal. Plugging and connecting Before connecting the Class A SE integrated amplifier to the sources, please be sure that they're all unplugged from wall outlets.
