You will find a small hook for this purpose above the receiver rest. Making a call The AUDIOLINE TEL 8 can be used like any conventional telephone. Please follow the instructions: Lift the receiver and wait for a dialling tone. As soon as you receive a call, you will hear the ringing tone. If the caller's voice should be too soft or too loud, you can change the receiver volume. You can adjust the volume to suit your requirements using the buttons. If a connection that you have dialled is engaged or you were unable to get through to anybody, simply replace the receiver. The last number dialled remains stored in the telephone automatically. to use the redial facility , proceed as follows: Lift the receiver and press the redial button . The number stored by the redialling facility will now be dialled. You can switch off the microphone during a call using the mute button . It is thus possible to speak without the other party hearing you. The loudspeaker remains switched on and you can continue to hear the other party. To switch the microphone on again, press the mute button once more. The indicator light will go out and you can continue the call as normal. With the AUDIOLINE TEL 8 you can store 10 frequently used telephone numbers and call them directly using two buttons (speed dial). The maximum length of the telephone number that can be stored is 21 ?If you want to change a number that has already been stored, simply save the new number in the required storage location. Now press the required storage location 1 to 9 or 0 on the number pad. press the Save button and replace the receiver. [. . . ] Exchanged parts or exchanged equipment become our property.
