Introduction
The Australian Monitor Installation Series PRE1 is a high quality,  low cost mic preamp,  that is highly featured & simple to use.  [. . . ] Note Phantom power is available on the XLR input only. Jack/XLR Mic Outputs: These can be balanced XLR or unbalanced 6. 35mm jack outputs. Note the 6. 35mm output jack can also be connected to headphones for personal monitoring. 12VDC Power input: This input accepts power from the supplied 12VDC power supply. Power LED: This LED indicates the unit is "on" Phantom Power On/Off: This switch enables 36 volt phantom power to the XLR input. Clip LED: This indicates that signal level is too high & distortion may occur Mic Gain: This increases the level of the microphone from the PRE1
