IMPORTANT: Always attach the cutting guide BEFORE turning the trimmer on, and turn it off before changing the guide. The cutting length of your E823E trimmer is manually adjustable. To increase the cutting length, push the cutting guide up. To reduce the cutting length, push it down. The selected length is displayed at the back of the trimmer. MAINTENANCE Remove the cutting guide after each use. [. . . ] BaByliss oil is specially formulated for trimmers, it will not evaporate or slow the blades down.
