• About the LAMP Indicator The LAMP indicator illuminates to indicate the status of the lamp. (See page 64 for details. ) Green or orange: The lamp is on. Blinking in green or orange: The lamp is warming up. Red: The lamp is shut down abnormally or the lamp should be replaced. • When you switch on the projector, a slight flickering of the image may be experienced within the first minute after the lamp has been illuminated. This is normal operation as the lamp's control circuitry is stabilizing the lamp output characteristics. It should not be regarded as faulty operation. • If the projector is put into Standby mode and immediately turned on again, the lamp may take some time to start projection. • When Security Lock is set, the password input box appears. To cancel the password setting, input the password that you have already set. See page 51 for details.

Enter STANDBY Mode?Set the projector's volume to the lowest level when turning the projector on/off or when changing the input signal. • When you do not want to output the sound from the projector's speaker while the projector is connected to external equipment, set “Speaker” in “Audio” of the “PRJ-ADJ” menu to “Off”. (See page 53. ) • The audio signal is not output from the internal speaker when connecting the audio cable to the MONITOR OUT (AUDIO) terminal.
Basic Operation
Displaying the Black Screen and Turning Off the Sound Temporarily
Press AV MUTE on the remote control to temporarily display a black screen and turn off the sound.

• While the INPUT list is displayed, follow the procedure below to switch the input mode. – Press P/R to select the desired input mode and then press (ENTER). • If (ENTER) is not pressed, the projector switches to the selected input mode in a few seconds.

• When no signal or non-supported signal is received, “NO SIGNAL” will be displayed.

• Pressing AV MUTE again will turn the projected image back on.

Resize Mode
This function allows you to modify or customize the Resize mode to enhance the input image. You can set the Resize mode in “SCR-ADJ” menu. See page 49. VID

Press MENU to display the menu screen, and then press O or Q to select “SCR-ADJ”. Press P or R to select “Resize”.

An image stretched from a 4:3 aspect ratio to a 16:9 aspect ratio is restored to a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Native
The image is displayed according to the original input signal. “Native” cannot be selected when the input mode is VIDEO or S-VIDEO.
• When using the Resize function to select an image size with a different aspect ratio to a TV program or video image, the image will look different from its original appearance. Keep this in mind while choosing an image size. • The use of the Resize or Keystone Correction function to compress or stretch the image for commercial purposes/public displays in a café, hotel, etc. [. . . ] • Check whether there is a source of high intensity lighting nearby. High intensity lighting can interfere with communication between the 3D LCD shutter glasses and the screen resulting in some flicker. • Check whether two or more projectors are projecting 3D images at the same time. – Use only one projector at a time.
