The Traffic Assist is a powerful PND (3ersonal 1avigation 'evice) for use in vehicles and closed spaces. [. . . ] These are only used to restrict the list of points of interest. In large towns, this list may be very long.
In the 7RZQ RU 3RVWFRGH box (top button) enter the town in which you want to search for a point of interest. X From the $OO FDWHJRULHV box, select a main category (e. g. Only those points of interest in the town specified are displayed. X Touch the box next to this and select a sub-category (e. g. museum).

'HVWLQDWLRQ VHOHFWLQJ IURP WKH PDS If the destination required cannot yet or can no longer be found in the destinations memory, the 6HOHFW RQ PDS button allows you to select it directly. No address details are asked for in this case. Gently press the screen surface until a circle of dots is drawn around the destination requested. Information on the point selected is loaded from the set of data and displayed. There are buttons under the information box which can be used to call up several functions which are provided for the route point selected. The following function keys are provided for non-active directions to the destination:
