If the destination required cannot yet or can no longer be found in the destinations memory, the Select on map button allows you to select it directly. No address details are asked for in this case. When route guidance is deactivated, the following buttons are available: Button

Meaning Starts navigation
> Press the Select on map key to make a direct selection. Note: You may have to enlarge the area using the zoom buttons and in order to find the desired street. You can also find the desired point by moving the map
> Gently press the screen surface until a circle of dots is drawn around the destination requested. Information on the point selected is loaded from the set of data and displayed. There are buttons under the information box which can be used to call up several functions which are provided for the route point selected.

NAVIGATIONAL MODE
Navigation menu: Route planning
The route planning menu allows you to create and select individual routes. In addition to selecting and setting a wide range of details, you can also define legs of the journey. > In Navigation menu, press the Route planning key to access the route menu. The map symbol appears at the top right of the route menu. The name of the last programmed route is displayed at the top left and the individual stages of this route appear underneath. Route list Routes already stored in the system are selected from the route list. Selecting a route > Press a route to select it. The route is loaded and displayed in the route menu.
