Option Permitted Meaning With this option, the road type in question is included in calculating the route. With this option, the road type in question is avoided where possible. With this option, the road type in question is not included in calculating the route. Avoid Prohibited > Confirm your selection by pressing the OK button. The area on the right-hand side shows the colour key for the individual routes, the mileage for each route and the estimated driving time. NAVIGATION MODE The Junction info button In the Junction info settings window you can turn on or off the help available for complex turnings, such as motorway intersections or certain multi-lane roads. > Press Junction info in the settings menu. Setting Signposts >>> >D > GB >F >I Meaning When this function is enabled, you receive information regarding traffic signing which you should follow. The TMC button You can configure settings for the reception of traffic announcements in the TMC settings window. > Press TMC in the settings menu. The Junction info settings window appears. Note: This information can only be displayed if it is contained in the map material. > Press the required option to turn the corresponding function on or off . > Confirm your selection by pressing the OK button. The TMC settings window appears. >E >P > NL > DK >S Setting Auto-select station Setting Lane info Meaning When this function is enabled, a small arrow indicates which lane you should move into in the case of multi-lane roads. Meaning Choose whether to run an automatic search for the station with the best reception (function switched on ). >N > FIN > TR > GR > PL > CZ >H > SK 49 >>> >D > GB >F >I >E >P > NL > DK >S >N > FIN > TR > GR > PL > CZ >H > SK 50 NAVIGATION MODE Setting Meaning Press the arrow buttons to activate the automatic station search. The currently tuned TMC station is displayed in the adjacent field. This can only be set if the Autoselect station function is switched off. This button allows you to choose whether the route change should be made Never, Automatically or Manually. (See "Taking announcements into consideration when calculating routes" on page 57. ) The setting Never is equivalent to switching off the TMC function. The Map info button In the Map info settings window, you can configure settings for additional information in the map display. > Press Map info in the settings menu. Setting Info box (height, speed) Meaning When you switch this option on, the vehicle speed and the altitude are displayed in a small box on the map. The Map info settings window appears. Rerouting > Press the required option to turn the corresponding function on or off . You can also decide whether symbols should be displayed on the map to represent points of interest and which ones to use. > Press the Select POI categories button. Setting Meaning Street names When you switch this 2D option on, all street > Confirm your settings by pressing the OK button. names are displayed on the map in 2D mode. Street names When you switch this 3D option on, all street names are displayed on the map in 3D mode. NAVIGATION MODE The Speed info button The Speed info settings window allows you to display speed limits parallel to the navigation. You can also be warned against exceeding the speed limit by an acoustic warning. Selecting Show all POIs displays all points of interest on the map. Selecting Show no POIs displays no points of interest on the map.
