Top view The LEVEL control adjusts the output level. The CONTOUR control modifies the tone of the signal to achieve everything from traditional to super-modern sounds. Turning it to the right will create a milder sound while turning it to the left provides heavier and sharper sounds. [. . . ] To install or replace the 9 V battery (not included), press the hinges with a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. As soon as you insert the plug into the IN connector, the XD300 is on. When not in use, remove the plug from the IN connector. The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside.
