[. . . ] Applies to: F1PG200ENau ­ Belkin Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) Firmware release notes 1. Voice over IP registration indicator and error codes 2. [. . . ] Type in your current password (or the default password of admin) then click LOGIN 4) On the left hand side of the screen click Advanced Setup 5) You will now be presented with more options in the menu on the left. Click Utilities then choose Firmware Update 6) Click the browse button, located in the centre of the screen 7) You will now be asked to browse for the file you downloaded earlier. Browse to this file and click Open 8) Click Update, two warnings will now appear, click OK on each warning. NB ­ Progress bar will indicate the progress at the bottom of the screen in percentage. 9) Once the Firmware Update process has completed, you will need to restart the ATA by clicking the Restart ATA button When the prompt asks you to restart please click yes. The ATA will restart and take you back to the Login page. You can now Login to the ATA again by typing in your password and you can confirm the Firmware Version which will be shown in the top left of the screen. Finally you will need to perform a factory reset of your ATA so you can continue using the ATA with the newer firmware. Before conducting a factory reset ensure that you have your VoIP phone number and password handy ­ write this information below to assist you later: VoIP phone number ______________________ VoIP Password __________________________ To perform a factory reset follow these steps: 1. If you are already not logged in to your ATA then log in to the ATA using the method described in steps 1-3 above 2. Under utilities\restore factory defaults, click on restore factory defaults. Click OK ­ the router will now take a number of seconds to reboot. Once the router has restarted type in your password again and log in to the ATA. 9. Click on set up wizard in the top left of the screen below the iiNet logo. Place a tick in the box for VoIP Account 1 or 2 and enter your VoIP Phone number (with no spaces) and VoIP password. On the back of the physical ATA unit you will see two ports for the telephone cord, ensure that you have physically connected the telephone in the corresponding physical Line 1 or Line 2 port in the back of the ATA unit. 11. [. . . ] If you are confident you are connected to the internet then please ensure that you have entered your VoIP phone number and password correctly (step 10 through to 14 above). If after checking these two issues you still see no line 1 or 2 illumination then please turn off the ATA and wait for 1 hour before turning the ATA back on ­ if after a few minutes the ATA Line 1 or 2 light does not illuminate please contact Belkin technical support on 1800 235546.
