Before removing the batteries,  complete a HotSync® function to synchronize your data.  [. . . ] Insert it into the PDA with the charging contacts facing out and the label facing up. Insert the Belkin battery cover (B) included with the kit. Snap the head of the charging cord (C) into the battery door. The initial charge requires using the AC/DC wall converter (D).
