EXE is executed in an MS-DOS prompt shell only,  the utility will report inaccurate results. HOW TO SET THE COMPUTER'S PARALLEL OR SERIAL PORT SETTINGS: If you have a serial connection,  the baud rates and handshake method must match between the computer output port and the Laserlink MIO input port. The following diagrams show how to set the computer's connection port (serial or parallel) with the Laserlink MIO to the proper settings.
