Some examples of the type of actions you can program are: Single Key ­ Make a button on the controller work like a keyboard key. Macros ­ Record a sequence of keyboard keystrokes, mouse-button presses, and/or joystick commands (such as axis controls, d-pad controls, and joystick button commands) to be played back when a button is pushed. Keymap Selector ­ Switch between the three color Keymaps (Blue, Green, Red) and effectively triple the number of functions you can program in a single profile. Advanced functions that can be inserted into the "Current Macro Assignment" from this window include: Basic Commands ­ Allows you to insert operations from a list of basic commands supported in Windows® OS. Page 3 MACRO BEHAVIOR These three settings determine how the macro will be played back when triggered. This determines how many times the "Current Macro Assignment" will be fully executed when the macro is triggered. This setting defaults to a value of 1, meaning that the events in the macro will be executed once. Using this setting will force the macro to repeat continuously while the assigned button is held. Using this setting forces the macro-assigned button to act like a toggle switch. If you push it once and let go, the macro will continuously repeat until another key is pressed. MACRO CREATION 1. Type a new name for the macro in the "Macro Name" field at the top of the "Macro Editor" pane. Left-click on the "Record" button to start recording keyboard events. Using the keyboard, type in the key-press combination of the macro you want to create. This will normally be a combination of moves to create a new move, or a phrase, such as "cover me", that you would use during a game. Notice the keys you press and release are recorded in the "Current Macro Assignment" window. Left-click on the "Stop" button to stop recording the macro. You can also click on the "Advanced" button to display a list of Advanced Options which you can insert into the macro. Click on the "Save" button to save your macro. Now you can return to the main editing window and click on any Key Assignment button. Select "Macro" from the context menu, find the macro you just created in the list, and assign the newly created macro to the button on the n52te.
