The Router will automatically check for a newer version of firmware every time you log into the dashboard and alert you with a message at the top of the screen if there is an update available. You can choose to download the new version or ignore it. You will see a series of prompts warning you that the firmware is about to be updated. Please do not disconnect the power from the Router at this time as it could cause the system to fail. When the âRouterâ light becomes solid again, the reset is complete. Symptoms You need to restore the factory defaults using the web interface. This may be because the Router is not performing as expected or you wish to remove all previously configured settings.
