The intelligent key can also be used to activate the panic alarm by pressing and holding the button 05 for more than 0. 5 seconds. Once activated, the panic alarm and headlights will stay on for 25 seconds. niSSAn inTeLLiGenT keY® BATTeRY diScHARGe if the battery in the intelligent key is almost discharged, the guide light 06 of the intelligent key port blinks and the intelligent key insertion indicator is displayed in the vehicle information display. To start the engine under these circumstances, insert the intelligent key into the key port with the buttons facing upward and the keyring end toward you until it latches into place. Then push the ignition switch to start the engine.

To remove the intelligent key from the port, push the ignition switch to turn the engine off and then pull the intelligent key out of the port. The intelligent key port does not charge the intelligent key battery. if you see the low battery indicator 06 , replace the battery in the intelligent key.

POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENTS (if so equipped)
Push the control switch 01 forward or backward to slide the seat forward or backward. Turn the switch (inside collar) 02 to the position to turn on the fog lights.

WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER SWITCH
Move the lever to the following positions to operate the windshield wipers:

Mist (MIST) - One sweep operation of the wipers. intermittent (INT) - Operates speed-sensing wiper system intermittently. Low (LO) - Wipers operate at a continuous low-speed. High (HI) - Wipers operate at a continuous high-speed.

AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROLS (if so equipped)
01 AUTO BUTTON
Press the AUTO button to turn the system on and the fan speed, air flow distribution and temperature will be automatically maintained.
02 TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIALS
Turn the temperature control dial left for cooler air or right for warmer air.
03 AIR FLOW CONTROL BUTTONS
Select the air flow outlets by pushing the corresponding air flow control button. Air flows from center vents, side vents, foot outlets and defroster outlets as indicated by the icons.
04 FAN SPEED CONTROL DIAL/OFF BUTTON
Turn the dial to the left to decrease fan speed or to the right to increase fan speed. Press the button to turn the system off.
05 DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS

to turn the system on or off.
