[. . . ] This fryer is equipped with a Cool Zone. Free food particles sink to the Cool Zone which has a lower temperature than the rest of the oil. In the Cool Zone the parts will not burn and your oil or liquid liquid fat stays healthy longer. Please read the safety instructions below to use the Cool Zone in a responsible way. [. . . ] Do not dispose of this product as normal domestic waste at the end of its life, but hand it in at a collection point for the reuse of electric and electronic equipment. Look for the symbol on the product, the user instructions or the packaging showing the type of waste. By helping us reuse and process the materials or otherwise recycle the old equipment, you will be making an important contribution towards the protection of the environment. Your municipality can tell you where to find the designated waste collection point in your neighbourhood. The fryer is only intended for domestic use, Clean the appliance thoroughly to remove any manufacturing residues (see "Cleaning and maintenance"). ATTENTION: Never use solid fats (like blocks) ATTENTION: Only use oil or liquid fats specifically suitable for frying This appliance is equipped with an overheating safeguard. It will be activated when the appliance is used without (sufficient) oil or liquid fat. When activated, the appliance is switched off automatically and you cannot use it again, unless it is being reset. Follow these steps to reset the appliance: Disconnect the plug from the wall socket. Switch off the appliance by turning the On/Off - Temperature control dial completely to the left. Allow the appliance to cool down completely. Pin against the reset switch in the hole at the backside of the panel (see figure 2). Please fit the ends of the handle into the eyes of the basket (3A + 3B). Move the handle upwards and press it until it locks to the basket (3C). The handle is placed correctly and is now ready for safe use. ATTENTION: For safe use of the fryer, it is extremely important that the handle is placed correctly. Fill the inner pan with oil or liquid fat. Be sure the level lies between the `MIN' and `MAX' marks in Put the lid back on. The "on/off" indicator light will illuminate. Set the temperature control dial to the required setting. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Replacing the oil or liquid fat The quality of the oil or liquid fat deteriorates every time you use the deep fryer. For this reason you will need to replace the oil or liquid fat at regular intervals. Topping up the oil or liquid fat will not improve the quality. [. . . ]
