AudiaFLEX is an expanded version of Audia, ® the benchmark in digital audio systems for demanding professional sound installations.  [. . . ]  Inputs/outputs shall be specified in pairs, uptoatotalof24. Mic/lineInput(IP-2), AcousticEchoCancellation(AEC-2HD), TelephoneInterface(TI-2),  Mic/LineOuput(OP-2e), andAmplifierOutput(PA-2)input/outputoptionsshallbeavailable. Inputs/outputsshallbe analog, withinternal24-bitA/D&D/Aconvertersoperatingatasamplerateof48kHz. Allinternalprocessingshallbe digital(DSP). Electronicallybalancedinputsandoutputsshallbeprovidedonplug-inbarrier-stripconnectors. Inputs andoutputsshallbeindividuallyprogrammableforeithermicrophoneorlinelevelsignal. Expansionunits, utilizing CobraNet, ®shallbeavailablein8-channelversions, foraddinganalogordigitalinputs/outputstoasystem.    Each hardware configuration shall include six 60MHz 32-bit floating point DSPs.  Software shall be provided for creating/connectingDSPsystemcomponentswithineachhardwareunit. Availablesystemcomponentsshallinclude (butnotbelimitedto)variousformsof:mixers, equalizers, filters, crossovers, dynamics/gaincontrols, routers, delays,  remotecontrols, meters, generators, anddiagnostics. Ethernetcommunicationsshallbeutilizedforsoftwarecontrol,  configuration,  and DSP distribution.  Each hardware configuration shall be available with CobraNet (for multi-unit applications) or without CobraNet (for stand-alone applications).  CobraNet technology shall transport digital audio over fast Ethernet,  allowing multiple units to share digital audio.  Multi-unit applications shall require an external 10/100Base-TEthernetswitch. AllCobraNetandEthernetconnectionsshallbeviaCAT5cableorfiber-optic. After initial programming,  systems may be controlled using either TCP/IP or RS-232 serial communication by third party controlsystems(suchasAMX®andCrestron®), byPCcomputer, and/orbydedicatedremotecontroldevices. Software shalloperateonaPCcomputer, withnetworkcardinstalled, runningWindows®XPProfessional/Vista. TheDigitalAudio PlatformshallbeCEmarked, UL/C-ULlisted, andshallincorporateAES48-2005Grounding&EMCpractices. TheDigital AudioPlatformshallbecompliantwithEUDirective2002/95/EC, theRoHSdirective.
