Pull the power cord out only as much as is necessary. Pull it out by opening the base station and connect the plugs with an appropriate power socket. Open the lid and fill in with the desired quantity of water. The appliance begins to operate, the indicator lamp begins to flash. If the water is boiling the appliance switches off automatically. The On/Off switch automatically moves to the "O" position, the indicator lamp turns off. If you want to stop or interrupt the boiling process, keep the On/Off switch on the "O" position. However, you can continue the boiling process by waiting for 20 seconds until the heating element has cooled off.
