Empty the dirt container when the dirt reaches the "Full" line on the side. Check the inner and outer circular filters, and the pre-motor filter at least once a month and clean or replace as needed. Replace the HEPA media post-motor filter every three to six months. Note: More frequent filter cleaning or replacing may be necessary if you are vacuuming new carpet, fine dust, or have allergy concerns. 4. 5. 6. Cleaning the pre-motor filter 1. Unplug the cleaner from electrical outlet. The pre-motor filter protects the motor from debris. It is located underneath the dirt container and filter cup in the center of the round part of the Lock `n Seal lever. Remove the small, round, pre-motor filter and any debris on top of it. Rinse well under warm water, then air dry thoroughly before replacing. WARNING: Do not operate cleaner with damp or wet filters or without all filters in place. 3. The HEPA media post-motor filter assists in the filtration process to return clean air to the room. It is located behind the door on the front of the cleaner. When the filter becomes dirty, open the door, remove the filter and replace. Note: This filter is not washable and must be replaced. HEPA Media Post-Motor Filter 3. Replace the door by inserting the tabs on the left side and snapping the right side into place. WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury from moving parts, turn the power switch OFF and disconnect plug from electrical outlet. Maintaining the TurboBrush The TurboBrush should be checked regularly for clogs or debris wrapping around the brush roll. Remove TurboBrush tool from hose or front of vacuum. Twist collar so opening is at the top and lift top cover to remove. Remove brush from belt and clean debris. Replace brush inside belt and place ends into slots on sides. Reposition top cover, making sure to line up the inside tab at the front with the opening on the cover.
