[. . . ] Navigation TravelPilot DX-N Operating instructions Safety Information The TravelPilot DX-N has been designed for use in cars. Such special information as height restrictions or maximum permissible loads as required for commercial or semitrucks or busses have not been included on the navigation CDs. 2 Using the system while driving If you do not pay attention to the current traffic situation at all times, you could easily cause serious traffic accidents. To avoid being distracted by the TravelPilot DX-N, please observe the following information: · · · · Before you use the system for the first time, make yourself familiar with the TravelPilot DX-N and its operation. The "Settings" menu will appear. A selection list for the type of information to be displayed will appear. Route guidance will continue using the information map selected. 2. 3. Route guidance Selecting the current position map (North, Automatic, Intersection zoom) There are three different display modes for the current position map: ­ ­ ­ Map due north ("North"), Map in driving direction ("Automatic") and Map in driving direction or due north (depending on the scale), map scale is adjusted accordingly (Intersection zoom").
