Now it is essential to enter the correct code after the waiting period has elapsed (CODE in the display). ESPAGÑOL · Release preset buttons 1 and 4. "CODE" will be briefly displayed each time the radio is turned on. Your car radio is now ready for operation. When the car is stationary, an optical security system in the form of a flashing LED can be activated to visualize that your radio is codeprotected. Depending on how you have hooked up your radio, three different LED modes are available, which can be programmed with the DSC function. See "DSC programming" for more details. DEUTSCH Radio operation with RDS An ever increasing number of FM radio stations broadcast addition information in parallel to their normal program via the Radio Data System to make reception even more convenient. As soon as radio programs can be identified, the station name and possibly the regional identifier are in the display, e. g. "NDR1 NDS" (local radio program in Lower Saxony, Germany).
