LOOSE WIRES CAN ARC AND MAY CAUSE FIRE. [. . . ] C) AWAY FROM EXHAUST SYSTEM, EXTREME HEAT AND MOVING PARTS. NOTE: SOME COMPACT CARS WILL ONLY ACCEPT TUBES MOUNTED BEHIND THE GRILL OR UNDER THE BUMPER. 2) WIRING : A) TRUN OFF SURPLUS WIRE BEFORE CONNECT. MAKE SURE ALL WIRES ARE AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE , AND CLOSE TO TUBE AS ILLUSTRATED IN WIRING DIAGRAM B) ALLOW AT LEAST 2 INCHES OF CLEARANCE AF THE END OF EACH TUBE SO THAT WIRE MAY BE EASILY BENT BACK. C) MOUNT MULT-OUTLETS POWER CONNECT NEAR TO BATTERY BUT AWAY FROM ENGINE ON A FLAT METAL SURFACE. D) BLACK(GROUND) WIRES CAN BE INDIVIDUALLY SECURED TO CHASSIS , OR TO THE BATTERY(-) CAUTION: BEFORE SWITCHING ON SYSTEM , BE SURE TO SECURELY CONNECT ALL THE WIRES FROM TUBES TO BATTERY. 3) GENERAL INFORMATION: A) THE 12 VOLT ELECTRONIC NEON TUBES DRAW ONLY 6 AMPS AN8 AMP IN LINE FUSE IS PROVIDED.
