The following products are affected by this addendum: MediaDesk 2. 1 Main Amplifier Module - Serial numbers listed below Group A 01000001 to 01001550 Group B 01001651 to 01001850 Group C 01001852 to 01001939 Group D 01001951
The MediaDesk In-Rush Cable incorporates an integral current limiter,  which will reduce the in-rush current during power up of a MediaDesk system and eliminates in-rush related fuse failures.  [. . . ] The cable is unique and not interchangeable with other IEC power cords. NOTE: When MediaDesk is ON the cable may get very warm. This is part of the normal function of the in-rush limiter within the cable assembly and is expected. It is strongly recommended that you wait a minimum of 10 minutes between power down and power up cycles. This will allow the current limiter time to fully cool and effectively limit inrush current during the next power up cycle. CAUTION!: This cable should only be used with MediaDesk and is not designed to work with any other products.  [. . . ] Additionally,  it should only be used with those MediaDesk systems that are part of the serial number group listed above.
