The STEROID 1 Signature is a single ended Dual-Mono solid state stereo integrated amplifier that uses a proprietary Bluenote electronic design called Mirror-AmpTM. The Mirror-AmpTM enables the preamplifier section to work as a super class A amplifier. The Mirror-AmpTM is a the gain stage made with a proprietary cascode differential amplifier with a mirror current, producing a super-linear signal, thus virtually eliminating distortion. The power supply is handled by three different transformers custom made for Bluenote. It is very precise and its error track ability is very low. Besides it is made with such materials that render its durability far superior with many other potentiometers on the market. The remote volume control with its proper electronic board and power transformer (to avoid any kind of interferences on signal path) works directly on a DC motors positioned on the back of the potentiometer to avoid the use of electronic controllers can reduce sound quality. B e careful during the remote use: the remote moves the volume very slowly when the triggers UP or DOWN are maintained pushed.
