[. . . ] 2 Temperature selection button The button sets the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. 3 Temperature display Note ambient temperature and ventilation The climatic class can be found on the rating plate. It specifies the ambient temperatures at which the appliance may be operated. The rating plate is located at the bottom leftĆhand side inside the fridge. Permitted ambient temperature +10 °C to 32 °C +16 °C to 32 °C +16 °C to 38 °C +16 °C to 43 °C Climatic category The numbers correspond to the set refrigerator compartment temperatures in °C. 3 The air at the back of the appliance will heat up. This warm air must be allowed to freely escape, otherwise the refrigerating machine must perform more. Hence, the airĆinlet and outlet apertures should never be covered or blocked off!Setting the temperature in the refrigerator compartment Fig. 2 The temperature in the refrigerator compartment can be set from +2 °C to +8 °C. The factory has recommended the following temperatures: Refrigerator compartment: +4 °C Switching on the appliance Switch on the appliance with the On/Off button. 2/3, until the appliance has reached the set temperature. The appliance starts cooling, the interior light is switched on when the door is open. When the appliance has been switched on, it may take several hours until the set temperature is reached. Do not put any food in the appliance beforehand. Operating tips S It is quite normal for beads of water or frost to form on the rear of the refrigerator compartment. It is not necessary to scrape off the frost or wipe off the beads of water. The condensation is conveyed down the drainage channel, Fig. 7/A to the refrigerating unit where it evaporates. S If the air humidity is high, condensation may form in the refrigerator compartment, especially on the glass shelves. If this is the case, pack or wrap the food and select a lower temperature in the refrigerator compartment.
