Operating the appliance For blending mayonnaise, sauces, mixed drinks, baby food, cooked fruit and vegetables. Use the universal cutter for cutting/chopping raw food (onions, garlic, herbs)!The hand blender is not suitable for preparing mashed potatoes. ρ Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all parts of it. ρ Place the blender foot on the base unit and lock into position. ρ Put food in the blender jug or in another tall jug. The appliance works better if there is some liquid in the ingredients.  Firmly hold the hand blender and jug. ρ Switch on the hand blender by pressing the required On button (Normal speed/Turbo speed). In general, Turbo speed is recommended for the processing of food. Use Normal speed for liquids and hot food. The hand blender remains switched on as long as the On button is pressed.
