Display Setting DELAYED START Using pushbutton 5 , select the DELAYED START function, and using pushbuttons 3 , set the duration of the DELAYED START by the hour, from 24 hours to 1 hour. 3 Display 5 DELAYED START countdown: · The DELAYED START is displayed by the hour from 24 hours to 1 hour, and then by the minute from 59 min to 1 min. · The four upper bars flash one after the other until the end of the DELAYED START. By using the pushbutton marked 5 , you may select between displaying the ENDING TIME or the DELAYED START. 18 Setting functions Remaining Time display The REMAINING TIME is displayed in hours and minutes: · Depending upon the programme selection, the particular programme length is displayed. Note-If the ENDING TIME function was selected during the previous programme, then this remains stored. As soon as the programme starts, the REMAINING TIME appears in the display. 5 Childproof Lock (depending upon the model) You can secure your washing machine against inadvertent changes to the set functions and prevent any undesirable changes in the programme sequence. · To activate, simultaneously press the highlighted option pushbuttons 6 . · To deactivate, also simultaneously press the highlighted option pushbuttons 6 . Display The Childproof Lock can be activated or deactivated at any time. If the programme selector 1 is set to Aus, then the Childproof Lock is not active. 6 19 Setting the programme General In general, only press the pushbuttons briefly; any other procedure is described in the respective chapters, e. g. setting the time.
