Setting the time and the date Once you have set the language and immediately after the welcome message, a text scrolls on your screen inviting you to set the time: Press the knob - You hear a confirmatory beep - The hours start to flash on the screen. You can set the time by turning the control knob and then pressing it to confirm. Repeat the operation for the minutes - A message now invites you to set the date EN Set the day, the month and the year desired in the same way as for the hours and the minutes. - The selected date is shown in its integrity followed by "OK" flashing and by "NO" - To confirm your setting, press the knob - To change it, turn the knob until "NO" flashes and press the knob. Setting the temperatures When you put your appliance into operation, set the refrigerator temperature to a moderate setting (5°C on the refrigerator compartment and -18°C on the freezer compartment). 4 hours after starting your appliance or after any change in the setting for the refrigerator temperature, check the temperature OK indicator on your screen (see Symbols table). - If the indicator does not appear, gradually lower the temperature and check the indicator again 4 hours later. Repeat the operation as often as necessary. If the OK indicator appears on your screen, your refrigerator's temperature is correctly set. 46 Starting up and adjusting the appliance Meaning of the symbols and functions that can appear on your screen EN REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT Setting for your refrigerator's temperature (on the left of your screen) · Set approximately by degree from 0 to 8°C. Stopping and restarting the refrigerator compartment · In refrigerator temperature setting mode, when you are adjusting the temperature a "-" appears between 0° and 8°. This position enables you to stop the refrigerator compartment. Refrigerator temperature OK indicator · The OK indicator appears on your appliance's screen when the temperature of the coldest zone is at least 4°C. This means that the temperature is correctly set. · If the temperature rises, the indicator light goes out and you must reset the refrigerator compartment's temperature. Super Cool function · This temporarily lowers the refrigerator's temperature to return to the ideal food conservation temperature as quickly as possible (prolonged opening of the door, refrigerator being stocked up, etc. ) · It stops automatically after 6hours or can be stopped manually by deactivating the function. Ventilation function · Electronically stops/starts the fan for regulated or circulated cold (see the Ventilation section). · When the fan stops, it simultaneously stops the Super Cool and Biolyse functions if they are activated. "Holidays" function · this enables you to leave the refrigerator running while you are away, keeping the temperature at around 14°C to avoid bad smells developing and reducing your electricity consumption. [. . . ] Do not use a high-pressure steam cleaner. The very hot steam could damage the surfaces and the electrical circuits; you would expose yourself to a risk of electrocution. Periodically check that the drain hole for the defrosting water is not blocked and clean it with a stick as shown in the Drawing. Don't forget to clean the condenser from time to time: this is at the back of the appliance (see the section on "Description of your appliance").
