If you wish to select a different language, turn the selector 7 . Every time you start a programme, it records the temperature, the speed and the options you generally use and suggests these when you switch on. Important: When you start your machine for the first time, it proposes the manufacturer's recommended programme but it will learn your habits after a few cycles. 20 4 / PROGRAMMING YOUR MACHINE EN Display ·SETTING THE FUNCTIONS ·Selecting the type of textiles: To select the type of textiles or a particular programme (Rinse, Spin, etc. ), turn the knob 1 until the indicator light for the desired programme lights up (for more details, please refer to the section "PROGRAMME DETAILS"). ·Setting the temperature: When you have selected the type of textiles or a particular programme, your washing machine proposes the most suitable washing temperature for the programme. You can alter the suggested temperature by repeatedly pressing button 3 briefly. ·Setting the spinning: Your washing machine similarly automatically proposes the maximum authorised spin speed for the selected programme. Of course, we recommend that you only activate it after you have programmed and started the cycle. Display SYNTH. 40°C 800 Cycle 0: 22 End 16: 30 22 Full drum FDS stop Drip-dry Easy ironing 100 4 / PROGRAMMING YOUR MACHINE EN ·DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMMES The main programmes provided by the machine are as follows: ·DETAILS OF THE OPTIONS ·Prewash Specially designed for heavily soiled washing (mud, blood, etc. ). A specific initial agitation in cold water precedes a phase of heating to 30°C. This agitation phase in cold water enables the particles soiling the washing to be removed before the water is heated. ·Cottons/Whites For a wash load consisting of hard-wearing white or coloured COTTON textiles. Important : When washing coloureds do not exceed a maximum temperature of 60°C. NB : During the first few minutes of the programme, your machine automatically evaluates the washing load you have introduced and adapts the water consumption and the length of the programme accordingly to provide a perfect wash Important : Detergent must be placed in the " " container in the products box. ·Intensive This function enables you to handle so-called `difficult' stubborn stains. : During the first few minutes of the "Cotton" and "Synthetics" programmes, your washing machine analyses the composition of the "water / detergent" mixture and recognises the type of detergent being used. If this is a liquid or gel type detergent, it adjusts the ideal temperature accordingly to obtain the best washing results and the optimum use of energy. Throughout the whole of the rinsing phase, the "water/detergent" mixture is analysed once more to adjust the amounts of water necessary for rinsing depending on the type of detergent and the amount to be removed. This enables you to make significant savings in terms of time and water consumption. ·Rinse plus "Especially for sensitive and allergic skin": adds an extra rinse to the washing cycle. ·Easy Iron This avoids the washing creasing and makes it easier to iron. ·Full drum stop This function enables you to remove the washing from your machine before the spin phase or to delay this phase with you washing remaining in water to prevent creasing. When the machine is stopped with the tub full of water, it notifies you by scrolling the message "Full drum stop / Select spin speed". Then: -- Either you want to drain after spinning. In this case, use the knob 4 to choose a suitable spin speed for your type of washing.
