[. . . ] ⷠThis appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical or mental capabilities, unless they are given supervision by a person responsible for their safety. ⷠKeep the appliance away from children. Caution: Safety cap, steam supply hose, steam boiler and especially the iron stand are get hot during use. ⷠSteam ironing can cause condense water which may drop from the back of the iron board onto the floor. [. . . ] Steam-ironing is possible at ironing temperatures indicated with the red area on the temperature selector (d, from max to slightly lower than the two dots). The pilot light in the switch for steam function (7) goes off when steam is ready after approx. During use the pilot light will go on and off indicating that the appliance is working to maintain the required steam pressure. Adjust the steam flow to your desired level with the steam regulator (9, d) · For permanent steam function press the lock button (1) and slide backwards until it locks (g). To switch off the permanent steam, slide the lock button forward. ⷠWhen starting the ironing session or when you have not used the steam function for some time, the steam still present in the supply hose will condense into water. This may cause some spluttering in the appliance and a few drops of water may come out from the sole plate. Before starting ironing just hold the iron over a cloth and press the steam control button until the steam production has normalised. Hanging curtains and clothes (jackets, suits, coats) can be steam-ironed to remove wrinkles. set the temperature selector within the red section (d). Hold the iron with activated steam function in vertical position and pass over the material in up and down movements. Never direct the steam towards a person. Problem Drops coming out of the steam vents Help When starting or after ironing breaks this is normal (hose is cold  steam condenses). Press the steam control button Remark: Sometimes hot steam is hardly visible especially when the room temperature is high or the iron temperature is near to max. After pressing the switch for steam function (7) wait until the orange light goes off (about 8 minutes). Remark: The steam boiler is equipped with a safety cap (5) which can only be unscrewed after the pressure inside the steam boiler has reduced to a minimum. When the steam boiler is empty, the water low indicator (6, h) will light up. Press the steam control button (2) until you no longer hear any steam escaping from the iron. Caution: The safety cap, the steam boiler and especially the iron stand are hot. [. . . ] To clean handle and steam boiler use a damp cloth. ⷠTo maintain efficient performance empty the boiler and flush with tap water every 1 to 2 months, depending on the amount of calcium in your tap water. ⷠNever empty the boiler when the water is still hot. Within the guarantee period we will eliminate, free of charge, any defects in the appliance resulting from faults in materials or workmanship, either by repairing or replacing the complete appliance as we may choose.
