· Use only in a rear-facing position when using it with an infant weighing less than 20 lbs (9. 1 kg) OR is less than 1 year of age. · Use only with children who weigh between 5 and 50 lbs (2. 3 and 22. 7 kg) and whose height is 49 inches (124. 5 cm) or less. [. . . ] Refer to your vehicle owner's manual or contact the vehicle manufacturer for the maximum weight rating for their LATCH anchors. Use vehicle belt (not LATCH connectors) for installations with children who weigh more than the vehicle LATCH anchor limit. Unless specified otherwise by the vehicle manufacturer, assume a 40 lbs (18. 1 kg) child is the vehicle LATCH anchor limit.

Lap-Shoulder Belt Installation
· Figure A illustrates a typical forward-facing lapshoulder belt installation. · When not in use, always store LATCH connectors in storage slots. · See vehicle owner's manual to determine what type of seat belt system your vehicle has, and how to lock it.

· This child seat must not be used forwardfacing for children less than one year of age OR who weigh less than 20 lbs (9. 1 kg). · Child seat must be in the full upright position when installed in forward-facing mode with children over 33 lbs (15. 1 kg).

6 If the vehicle is equipped with an approved tether anchor, attach the Versa-Tether® hook to an approved tether anchor. Remove all slack from the tether to secure. Store excess webbing in the tether pouch. 7 Verify that the vehicle belt is tight, locked, and that the child seat is secure.
· The child seat is secure when it cannot be moved front-to-back or side-to-side more than 1 inch (2. 5 cm. ) at the belt path. If the child seat is not secure, repeat the installation process or use an alternate seating location.
