Using the answering machine 21 Playing messages and memos 1. Press Play . The number of stored messages is announced. Your messages and memos are then played back in the order they were received together with the day and time of recording. Skip Skip Stop When you reach the last message you will hear, "End of messages. To delete all messages, press delete". Deleting individual messages During playback of the relevant message: 1. You will hear, "Message deleted" and the next message will be played. 22 Using the answering machine If you lift the handset or press STOP during the 8 seconds, all messages will be saved. Deleting all messages 1. Wait until all messages have been played back and you hear "End of messages. To delete all messages, press delete". During the next 8 seconds, press Del . You will hear "All messages deleted". Call screening When your answering machine takes an incoming call, you can listen to the caller over the loudspeaker. You can then decide whether or not to take the call in person. When the phone rings, let the machine answer the call and wait until the caller begins to leave their message. If you choose to speak to the caller in person, pick up your handset. Your Decor 425 will automatically stop recording. To screen calls, make sure the answer machine is switched on and that the loudspeaker volume is set to an audible level. Remote access Remote access lets you switch on your Decor 425 answering machine and listen to your messages from any TouchtoneTM telephone.
