The emergency number list is displayed for a few seconds to enable other deletions if required. 2. Barring specific phone numbers You can prevent numbers being dialled which begin with specific digits. Up to three barred number prefixes from 1 to 8 digits each can be stored in the base station memory for each registered handset or telephone. For example, by entering 00 as a barred number, you can prevent all international calls. The emergency and the user programmable numbers cannot be barred from a handset/telephone. · Press the MENU button to display the main menu. · Press DOWN to highlight SERVICE. · Press NEXT to highlight SYSTEM SETTINGS. · Enter the system code (default 0000). · Press NEXT to highlight CALL BARRING. · Press NEXT to highlight the internal number of the handset/telephone you want to bar from making certain calls. · Press NEXT to highlight NEW ENTRY. Display shows NO1, NO2 or NO3, depending on which memory location is empty. [. . . ] This will reset: ­ ringer volume ­ ringer tone ­ battery warning tone ­ outside-range warning tone ­ in-range tone ­ automatic call acceptance ­ confirmation tones. It will delete: ­ numbers stored in the speed dialling memory ­ last number redial memory. It will NOT reset: ­ the handset PIN ­ the handset registration settings. 55 Wall mounting When deciding on a site to wall mount your Diverse 2-Line base station, please site it at least 1 metre away from corded phones, fax machines and answering machines as they can pick up interference. You may want to check that the base station is located so as to provide you with the fullest range possible before you wall mount it. [. . . ]
