Combines phone, answering machine, fax, copy and SMS text message functions in one compact machine. Send a fax to an individual number or groups of up to 10. [. . . ] To record your OGM(s) When the machine is in standby: 1. repeatedly until the display shows TAD SET-UP. repeatedly until the display shows the option you want RECORD 3. Display counts down your recording time. 6. Replace handset to end recording, your message is replayed. If you run out of time, your BT PaperJet 35 automatically stops recording and will play back the OGM. Press to return to standby. Listen to your OGM(s) When the machine is in standby: 1. repeatedly until the display shows TAD SET-UP. repeatedly until the display shows either PLAY OGM #1 or 3. Your message is played back over the loudspeaker. (To hear your message privately, pick up the handset. ) Display shows: PLAYING. After playback you can record a new OGM which will replace the existing OGM. Press to return to standby. Using the answering machine 37 To set Announce Only You can set your answering machine to Announce Only where callers will hear your OGM #1 but your machine will not record their messages. This enables you to leave an information announcement. You will still be able to receive faxes. When the machine is in standby, press shows TAD SET-UP. repeatedly until the display shows ANNOUNCE ONLY. Press to confirm, your OGM 1 is replayed. You can now record a new OGM 1 if required. Press Volume During playback of incoming messages and memos you can adjust the speaker volume. During playback, press display shows the volume level. to return to standby. 38 Using the answering machine Record a memo You can record a memo message for other users. Memos are stored and played in the same way as recorded messages. The display counts down the available recording time from 30 or 60 seconds. [. . . ] All items of telephone equipment have a Ringer Equivalence Number (REN), which is used to calculate the number of items which may be connected to any one telephone line. If the total REN of 4 is exceeded, the telephone may not ring. With different fax/telephone types there is no guarantee of ringing, even when the REN is less than 4. Switchboard compatibility This product is intended for use within the UK for connection to the public telephone network and compatible switchboards which support tone dialling and timed break recall.
