Manual abstract: user guide BUSHNELL DIGISCOPING BRACKET

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] Start with your spotting scope securely mounted in its viewing position on a sturdy tripod. Attach the ring of the bracket to the eyepiece of your spotting scope by tightening the three padded clamps onto the eyepiece. if possible , attach it to a non-rotating section of the eyepiece , not a zoom or focus ring. [. . . ] Once the camera is in place (centered vertically and horizontally behind the eyepiece), tighten the main adjustment screw and tighten the camera mounting screw so the camera is held securely. Rotate the pivot stop disc clockwise until you feel it stop, then tighten the pivot stop screw. Now you can swing the camera away from the eyepiece by just loosening the main adjustment screw, and then easily return it to the original position. Refer to "Digiscoping Tips for Better Photos" on the next page for more information on camera and scope settings for best results. Start with your scope set to its lowest power and focused on your subject. Adjust the zoom control on your camera to find the best lens setting, which will let you see the full image through the scope without black edges or cutoff-note the zoom setting for reference next time. If your camera's lens changes length as it zooms (most do), you will need to reposition the camera so its lens remains centered behind the scope eyepiece, and remains as close as possible to the scope. Cameras with a zoom range greater than "4x" (4:1 ratio) are not recommended for digiscoping. Use a remote shutter release or the "self timer" setting to avoid jarring the camera. If your camera has image stabilization, try it both on and off, then compare results. Some cameras may have difficulty autofocusing. You may find it necessary to switch to manual focus, or try the "Infinity" focus setting if your camera has no manual option. If your camera has the option, switch the exposure meter pattern to "spot" so the exposure is based on a small central area. Exposure compensation may be needed when photographing very light or dark wildlife. [. . . ] For products purchased outside the United States or Canada please contact your local dealer for applicable warranty information. You may have other rights which vary from country to country. Utilisez la distance focale manuelle si nécessaire ou, si la caméra n'est pas dotée d'un mode « manuel », utilisez le réglage « infini » de la distance focale . [. . . ]
