Remove any food remnants and clean the filters under running water. 1 Steprotate the filter cylinder, and then lift it up; 2 steplift the Main filter up 8 3 step 3 lift the Fine filter up NOTE To remove the filter follows steps 1-3, to insert the filter reverse the procedure. To clean the edge around the door, you should use only a soft warm, damp cloth. To prevent penetration of water into the door lock and electrical components, do not use a spray cleaner of any kind. Also, never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the outer surfaces because they will scratch the finish. [. . . ] Use only the special dishwasher detergent to avoid suds. If this occurs, open the dishwasher and let suds evaporate. Close and latch the dishwasher, then drain out the water by slowly turning the Dial until a drain period is reached. Repeat if necessary.
