Take care not to load more than two different types of cutlery in the same compartment. R 12 13 Half load wash upper basket LOADING THE DETERGENT AND THE RINSE AID Filling the detergent container IMPORTANT It is essential to use a detergent that is specifically designed for dishwashers either in powder, liquid or tablet form. "FINISH" gives very good results and can be easily obtained. Unsuitable detergents (like those for washing up by hand) do not contain the proper ingredients for use in a dishwasher, and stop the dishwasher from working correctly. After pouring the detergent into the container, close the lid, firstly pushing (1) and then pressing on it (2) until you hear the click. 1 C G A D F H B I E A 1/2 mixed load (fig. 1) A = glasses B = cups C = soup plates D = dessert plates E = saucers F = saucepan G = Irying pan H = medium bowl I = small bowl 2 C D E I GA F B H 1/2 load standard (fig. 2) A = 6 glasses B = 6 cups C = serving dish D = 6 soup plates E = 6 dinner plates F = 6 dessert plates G = 6 saucers H = medium bowl I = small bowl Normal wash The detergent container is inside the door (fig. If the lid of the container is closed, press the button (A) to open. At the end of every wash cycle the lid is always open and ready for the next time the dishwasher is used. The amount of detergent to be used varies according to how dirty the dishes are and on the type of dishes to be washed. We advise using 20:30 g of detergent in the wash section of detergent compartment (B). Since not all detergents are the same the instructions on the boxes of detergent can vary. We should just like to remind users that too little detergent does not clean the dishes properly whilst too much detergent will not produce better results and is also a waste. Place the cutlery in the plastic cutlery holder on the lower basket. IMPORTANT Do not use an excessive amount of detergent and help limit damage to the environment at the same time. CAUTION!IMPORTANT NOTE ON THE USE OF COMBINED DETERGENTS A If you are planning to use combined detergents i. e. those with built in salt and/or rinse agent, we would advise the following: read carefully and follow the manufacturer's instructions given on the packaging; some combined detergents, particularly those with built in rinse agent, provide best results when used with specific programmes; 15 B 14 the effectiveness of detergents containing the built in water softener/salt depends on the hardness of your water supply. Check that the hardness of your water supply is within the effective range given on the detergent packaging. In certain circumstances use of combined detergents can cause: limescale deposits on dishes or in the dishwasher; a reduction in washing and drying performance. Should this occur, we would recommend using traditional separate products salt, detergent and rinse agent. [. . . ] If a 9 hour delay is set, countdown will be displayed by the 6h LED after 3 hours and the 3h LED after 6 hours. At the end of the last 3 hours (at the end of countdown) the 3h LED will stop blinking and remain on to indicate the washing phase and the program will start automatically. If countdown has not ended, whereby the program has not yet started, it is possible to change or cancel the delayed start and select another program or to select/unselect the option button, proceeding as follows: Hold down the selected program button for at least 5 seconds (the corresponding LED will start to blink while the set time LED will stop blinking and remain on). Press the "DELAY START" button to set another delayed start time (the corresponding time LED will turn on) or cancel delayed start (corresponding time LEDs will all turn off). [. . . ]
