General notices
WARNING The cooker is an appliance which, by its nature, gets very hot. This applies particularly to the glass door. It is a good rule, therefore, to insist that children keep away from the oven when it is working. [. . . ] All encrusted stains should be removed, as they may cause an irregular flame. Cleaning the oven is very important and should be done after each use. During cooking, grease is deposited on the walls which, when the oven is next used, can produce unpleasant smells and can also have an effect on the cooking process. Clean it with hot water and detergent and rinse thoroughly.
Oven accessories
The roasting tray is used directly for cooking food (roasting joints, pastries, pizzas etc. ).
Oven light
This illuminates the oven interior. On models with gas ovens it is switched on by pressing the appropriate button (Fig. On models with an electric oven and electric grill it comes on when the thermostat knob is turned (Fig. If your oven still does not work, switch it off, do not tamper with it and call the Service Agent. Before calling out the Service Agent make a note of the serial number which is printed on the product identification plate (p. 4).
General Notice
WARNING: When using the grill, the door should always remain open. When the grill or the oven are being used, the cooker becomes very hot as does the glass in the door and the surrounding parts. So, make sure that children do not touch the appliance. WARNING: When using the grill or the oven, the glass top (for those models where one is fitted), should always be left open. Also, do not close the top while the burners are still hot. WARNING: The use of both gas grill and gas oven simultaneously is not allowed. Installation is the responsibility of the purchaser, and any work carried out by the manufacturer due to incorrect installation is not covered by the warranty. It is essential that everything concerning installation and adjustment is carried ou by a qualified person, in accordance with the current regulations. ATTENTION An additional protective means to avoid contact with the oven door is available. This part should be fitted when young children are likely to be present. This protective means, code 9194675. 6 (cookers with width 540 or 900) and code 9194674. 9 (cookers with width 650), can be obtained calling our service department.
Catalytic self-cleaning oven
Special self-cleaning liners covered with microporous enamel are offered as an optional extra on some models, which means that it is unlikely that you will ever need to manualy clean the oven. The grease which is deposited on the panels during cooking is removed through a catalytic oxidation process, transforming it into gaseous products. The pores of the enamel must be kept clear to ensure efficient self-cleaning. Excessive deposits of grease can block the pores and thereby impede self-cleaning. [. . . ] Pull off the knob (it is just a push fit) and using a small screwdriver turn the adjuster screws A (Fig. 20) anti-clockwise to increase the flow of gas or clockwise to reduce the flow, until the flame is 3/4 mm long. 21) Having kept the oven working at maximum with the door closed for about 10 minutes, turn the thermostat knob to 150° C. Remove the knob and: -- if changing from methane to LPG screw in the thermostat by-pass screw (Fig. [. . . ]
