If installation is not carried out in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, this warranty may be void. The customer must keep their "Tax Invoice" as proof of purchase of this product and compliance certificate as proof of required installation. Note: Ensure that the combustion air opening under the heater is not obstructed. 9 10 A CLEARANCE OF 50mm MUST BE MAINTAINED BETWEEN THE REAR OF THE CABINET AND THE REAR WALL OF THE FIRE PLACE. Fitment of cabinet depth spacer The clearance is required for correct fluing of the appliance. If the clearance is less than 50mm a cabinet depth spacer must be fitted. The spacer can be ordered from the relevant service agent. Order specification for the spacer is `Fitzspacer". To fit the spacer follow the procedure described below. Remove lower panel and front panel of heater as indicated in figure 16 & 17. Open the packaging and remove the three sections which make up the spacer assembly. Refer figure 11. 10 11 c Assemble the spacer by fixing the two side sections to the top sections with a s/t screw (provided) each side. Fix spacer to front frame with 7 s/t screws (provided). With heater in position, flanges should be hard against masonry. Refer figure 25. 25 14 Gas connections 15. Connect incoming gas supply pipe to regulator. Close gate over gas supply and seal around the pipe with fibreglass insulation material. Sealing is important as it prevents leakage from fan chamber into chimney: also check for gas soundness. 26 Fuel bed and log installation 16. The fuel bed is contained within the burner chamber. The fuel bed is retained by a spring clip fixed to the rear of the burner chamber. Refer figure 28 FUEL BED MUST BE HARD UP AGAINST REAR OF BURNER. 27 28 17. Logs are numbered as follows: No 1 - Left front log No 2 - left back log No 3 - Right front log No 4 - Right back log Position the four individually numbered logs in the following order on the fuel bed as shown in figure 29-32. The male locating pins in fuel bed must engage with corresponding holes in the individual logs. a) Place log No. 1 onto the 2 front left pins on the fuel bed, see figure 29. 29 15 b) Place log No. 2 onto the 2 left back pins.
