[. . . ] With this ICC profile, many color management systems can minimize the color differences between devices. The batch processing function is independent of other functions. Therefore, during batch saving, you can perform other operations in the main, edit, and edit image windows. 2-32 Printing Images Images can be automatically adjusted and printed within the print range. 1 2 Select an image and then select [File] menu [Print]. Printing with Easy-PhotoPrint Displaying Thumbnail Images and Performing Basic Edits in the Main Window Easy-PhotoPrint is printing software dedicated for Canon BJ printers. If Easy-PhotoPrint 2. 1 or later has been installed in your computer, you can print images with Easy-PhotoPrint. 2 Select an image and then select [File] menu PhotoPrint]. Easy-PhotoPrint starts up. [Print with Easy- Follow the instructions displayed on the Easy-PhotoPrint window to print images. To print images with Easy-PhotoPrint, you need Easy-PhotoPrint 2. 1 or later and a Canon BJ printer that supports Easy-PhotoPrint 2. 1 or later. If images are printed with Easy-PhotoPrint, the resolution is ignored. You can select [Rendering intents when using Easy-PhotoPrint] from [Perceptual] and [Colorimetric] (2-38). 2-33 Transferring Images to Photoshop You can transfer images to Adobe Photoshop. The descriptions given here use Adobe Photoshop 7. 0, as an example. 1 2 Select an image (2-6). Select [Tools] menu [Transfer to Photoshop]. Photoshop starts up and displays the transferred image. RAW images are converted to TIFF format before being transferred. In order to transfer images, you will need Adobe Photoshop. The versions of Photoshop for transferring images are 6. 0 to 7. 0. Select sRGB, Adobe RGB, or Wide Gamut RGB for the color space that is applied when RAW images are converted to TIFF format and saved. If you change the setting for [Default settings of Work color space], the changed setting is applied after restarting Digital Photo Professional. However, the changed setting is not applied to images with the [RGB] mark (2-4) that have been edited (2-14 to 2-16, 3-7 to 3-11) before the setting is changed. You should change the setting for each of the images using [Work color space] from the [Adjustment] menu (2-24). The specified color space is added to the ICC profile that is embedded in TIFF images that have been converted from RAW images and saved (2-29, 2-31). A color space is the reproducible color range (the characteristics of color gamut). Digital Photo Professional supports the color space of sRGB, Adobe RGB, and Wide Gamut RGB. sRGB : Widely used for the standard color space of monitors, digital cameras, and scanners. Adobe RGB : A wider color space than sRGB. Mainly used for printing for business purposes.
