You may want to use this setting to conserve memory. 3 Summary of the Printer Menus ON The printer reserves enough memory to hold the data for the page that jams and automatically reprints the page that jammed. With this setting, printing speed is slightly slower. Use this setting if there is sufficient memory available. AUTOCONT ON*, OFF AUTOCONT (automatic continue) determines how the printer reacts to errors. If the printer is part of a network or remote spooling system, set AUTOCONT to 'on'. ON The printer displays a message, goes offline for about 10 seconds and then automatically goes back online and resumes printing. OFF The printer displays a message, goes offline and waits for you to correct the problem. Press [OK] to resume operation.
